Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "user") and the developer of ClearLock ("we," "us," "our"). Use of ClearLock in any form constitutes full acceptance of these Terms.

2. License

Upon purchase of a valid license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use ClearLock on one (1) Android device per license. This license is for personal and household use only. Each additional device requires a separate license. The license does not expire and carries no recurring fees. All future updates are included under your existing license at our discretion, and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue updates at any time.

3. Permitted Use

ClearLock may be used to configure and enforce device controls on Android devices you own or have lawful authority to manage, including your own personal device or devices belonging to household members. Features such as administrator-approved temporary unlock requests are provided for convenience and remain subject to the disclaimers and limitations in these Terms.

4. Prohibited Use

• Installing on a device you do not own or have no lawful authority to manage
• Installing covertly on another person's device without their knowledge, where prohibited by applicable law
• Reselling, sublicensing, renting, or redistributing the software or license keys
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code
• Using ClearLock for any unlawful purpose
• Removing or circumventing any technical protection measures

5. Payment & Refunds

ClearLock is sold at a one-time price of $39 USD per device license. The installer is free to download; the license is required to activate ClearLock on a device. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. Refund requests must be submitted to support@clearlockapp.com within that period. Requests after 30 days are evaluated at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed.

ClearLock is designed to close known bypass methods and is updated as new ones are discovered. However, we make no guarantee that ClearLock will prevent access to any specific content, application, or service in every situation, on every device, or under every circumstance. Android device manufacturers, firmware updates, and new applications may affect ClearLock's functionality in ways outside our control. You assume full responsibility for evaluating whether ClearLock meets your needs before purchase.

9. Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right and appropriate authority to install and configure ClearLock on any device. You are solely responsible for any use of ClearLock that violates applicable laws or these Terms. We accept no liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising from your use of ClearLock in violation of any law or these Terms.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ClearLock and its developers, officers, agents, and successors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of ClearLock; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) any claim by a third party arising from your use of ClearLock.

ClearLock may interact with or depend on third-party services (such as the Android operating system and payment processors) that are outside our control. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party service, and we disclaim all liability arising from your use of or reliance on any third-party service.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised date. Continued use of ClearLock after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, your sole remedy is to stop using ClearLock.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license at any time, without notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use ClearLock ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action proceeding in connection with any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of ClearLock.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ClearLock regarding your use of the software, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, representations, or agreements.
